Rural and remote workshop: Event report

On 25-26 July 2018, SCF organized a special summit on the application of small cells in rural and remote scenarios. The summit was held at the historic Roundhouse in Evanston, WY, USA and was hosted by the Rural operator, Union Wireless. While Rural scenarios are self-evident, Remote scenarios include Remote Factories, Industrial Work Sites, Agricultural and Environmental IOT, Remote Health, eGovernance, Emergency Communications etc. This report summarises the key themes that came out of this meeting.
